keðja at ICE HOT
This week, in addition to the kick-off of the second Think Tank, Writing Movement will host a Round Table Discussion and we will present keðja in an Info Session on Nordic collaboration. All this happens in Helsinki at the Nordic dance platform ICE HOT that keðja partner Dance Info Finland organizes.

The first seminars of Writing Movement announced
The 4 seminars will take place in Oslo, Spring 2013. They are an opportunity for Scandinavian speaking journalists, editors, writers and critics to focus on the contemporary dance scene, looking at it from different angles. More info about the seminars and registration (in Norwegian). The seminars are organized by keðja partner Dance Information Norway and part of the keðja Writing Movement activities.
Wilderness hosts meet in Göteborg
Representatitves of the 10 Wilderness residency places, meet November 27-29 in Goteborg, Sweden. The idea is to establish some common grounds for the, by nature, very different stays and for the hosts to get acquainted with each other in order to be able to support each other, exchange and network during the period of the residencies as well as on a long-term basis as relevant. Kultur i Vast is hosting the meeting.
New book by Dragan Klaic on the role of public theatre today.
Dragan Klaic was a brilliant cultural analyst who involved himself very generously in the kedja activities from late 2007-2010. He passed away in 2011. Dragan left behind him material for a book that analyses the present status of public theater versus commercial theater. The book is called “Resetting the Stage. Public Theatre Between the Market and Democracy”.
